Bay Equipment sells, rents, and services Multiquip equipment from our Newport News and Chesapeake stores. We're an authorized Multiquip dealer, and our shop is a Multiquip Authorized Service Center, which means warranty work on any Multiquip product is done here rather than shipped out.

Multiquip is the name behind a lot of what's on a concrete or site-work job: Whiteman trowels, Mikasa rammers and plate compactors, MQ Power generators, Essick mixers, and the trash and diaphragm pumps that keep an excavation dry. We've run this equipment in our own rental fleet for years, so when you ask which unit fits the job, the answer comes from experience with it, not a catalog.

If you're deciding between renting and buying, we can do either. Rent it for the job, or put a quote together on a new unit and we'll set it up before it leaves the yard.

Multiquip service and parts

  • Service

    Our technicians are factory-trained on Multiquip equipment, and as an Authorized Service Center we handle in-warranty and out-of-warranty repairs on the full Multiquip line: engines, hydraulics, pump ends, trowel gearboxes, and generator electrical. Bring the unit to either store, or ask about pickup on larger machines. Turnaround dependent on shop backlog and parts availability.

  • Parts

    Genuine Multiquip parts, ordered against your model and serial number. We stock common wear items — filters, belts, fluids and trowel blades — for the models in our own fleet; everything else typically arrives within 7 business days. Bring the serial plate number or a photo of it and we'll get the right part the first time.

Do you sell Multiquip equipment online?

Not yet. New Multiquip equipment is quoted and sold through our counter so we can confirm the right configuration, set it up, and go over it with you before it leaves. Call (757) 249-1111 or use the form on this page for a quote.

Can I rent it first and buy later?

Often, yes. Renting is the easiest way to find out whether a machine fits your work. If you decide to buy, ask us about applying the rental toward a purchase or about ex-rental units we have available.

Do you deliver?

Yes. We deliver and pick up across eastern Virginia, including Newport News, Hampton, Yorktown, Williamsburg, Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Suffolk. Delivery is priced by distance and equipment size; ask when you call.

Is Bay Equipment an authorized Multiquip warranty repair center?

Yes. Bay Equipment is a Multiquip Authorized Service Center. Warranty repairs, general service, and genuine replacement parts for the full Multiquip line are handled in our own shop.

Which Multiquip product lines do you service?

All of them: Whiteman trowels and finishing equipment, Mikasa compaction equipment, MQ Power generators and light towers, Essick mixers, and Multiquip pumps, saws, and vibrators. If it has a Multiquip serial plate, we can probably work on it.

I bought my Multiquip equipment somewhere else. Will you still service it?

Yes. Authorized Service Center status covers Multiquip equipment regardless of where it was purchased, including warranty work. Bring the unit and the model and serial number.
