One Man Auger Rental
Description
Description
A one man auger rental is the small gasoline earth auger - a one person post hole digger for fence posts, sign posts and planting. Lighter and quicker to move than the two man machine, and the right choice when the holes are small, the ground is workable, or there is only one of you.
What It Gets Used For
- Fence and sign post holes
- Deck footings in workable ground
- Tree, shrub and bulb planting
- Soil sampling and small test holes
Features
- One Person Operation: No second set of hands needed
- Gasoline Powered: No cord and no compressor
- Takes the Same Bits: Shares the bit range with the two man auger
One Man or Two Man
A one man auger is easier to handle and quicker between holes, but it will fight you in clay, rock or heavy roots, and the larger bit sizes want the two man machine. Call and tell us the soil and the bit size you need and we will point you at the right one - or put the auger on a skid steer and let the machine do the work.
Bits and Extensions
- 4, 6, 8 and 12 inch diameter auger bits
- Threaded bit extensions to match your bit
- 36 inch shaft extension for deeper holes
