Concrete Polisher Rental
Description
Description
A concrete polisher takes a ground floor up through the resin grits to a finished sheen. Same planetary action as a grinder, run with polishing tooling and a lighter touch, so one machine class covers grind and polish.
What It Gets Used For
- Polished concrete floors in retail, showroom and residential work
- Refreshing an existing polished floor
- Burnishing after a densifier and guard
What You Will Need With It
- A resin polishing tool progression - we will spec the grit sequence
- Densifier and guard for the finish
- A HEPA dust collection vacuum
Related Machines
- Large and Small Concrete Floor Grinder Rental for the grinding passes
- Handheld Electric Polisher Rental for edges and detail
Dust Control
Renting a concrete grinder with vacuum attached is the standard way to do this work now. Grinding dry without one puts respirable silica in the air and leaves the slab too dusty to judge your progress, and the OSHA silica rule expects the dust to be captured at the tool rather than swept up afterwards.
We will match the vacuum to the machine and to the power you have on site. Polishing generates finer dust than grinding, so the HEPA stage matters more, not less. Ask for the grinder and vacuum together and we will match the hose and the fittings.
